Merseytravel, the Public Transport Authority for the Liverpool City Region, oversees and manages public transport services operated by several Local Public Transport Operators in the area.

Our team at Thetis IT developed a cutting-edge AVL-RTI system for Merseytravel, delivering a comprehensive MaaS solution that seamlessly integrates data from all Public Transport Operators in the region.

We engineered this innovative multi-operator system to simultaneously collect and monitor data from over 1,200 buses operated by 15 different companies. Our solution forecasts data for each operator in the area and provides passengers with real-time information via bus stop displays and third-party systems.
